Optional: Drivers License Information Scanner

Scans and Reads all types of Local, State and Federal ID cards. Information from the ID or Drivers License appears on the video recording of the camera system and on the touch screen for playback. It reads both magnetic ID cards and Temporary Bar Code ID's. This valuable tool provides irrefutable evidence of Identity Theft or providing false information to an officer.

 

Optional: GPS Interface

The Global Positioning Satellite interface records latitude, longitude and speed of the police vehicle. Information that's key to prosecution of fleeing suspects. The GPS system automatically corrects the time and date using NASA satellites for extreme accuracy.

Enables the speed of the targeted vehicle to be recorded at the top of the video. Record into evidence your reason for stopping the vehicle. Compatible with almost all brands of radar guns. Please specify your radar gun brand at time of purchase.

Optional: USB Real Time Live Streaming

This addon gives you the ability to send live streaming video through your laptop or MDC back to headquarters. Simply plug in the cable to the computer and the Plug & Play detection will find the device. Then both audio and video is sent streaming through the wireless network . Please note: Martel does not setup your departments wireless network, an IT consultant may be required.

Second function of this police camera accessory is that you can stream the video into facial recognition software & license plate recognition software. ALPR.  Automatic License Plate Recognition Technology. How Does ALPR Technology Work? ALPR technology was designed to capture and process images from police car camera video systems of license plates and then check them against a database of known problem plates. The USB streaming cable can work with facial recognition software and ALPR software.

Optional: Crash Sensor

If your vehicle crashes or is struck by another vehicle, this sensor will automatically turn on the video system. Additionally it will capture video recording of 2 minutes before the accident occured. The letter "G" will appear on the touchscreen idicating the sensor has activated. Potential savings of insurance claims are huge.
